NAIDOC Week 2020

We are celebrating NAIDOC Week from 8-15 November 2020 to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Quality Care 2020 introduces Cultural Safety as a new requirement in the Consumer-Centred Care domain, which requires pharmacies to understand their local cultural groups and develop a cultural awareness policy.

NAIDOC Week presents a great opportunity for your pharmacy to participate in a range of activities to support your local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community and may form part of your cultural awareness policy.

There are many ways to participate in the celebrations, visit NAIDOC Week for more.

Updated Program Rules

QCPP has recently updated the Quality Care 2020 Program Rules to reflect changes to corrective action timelines in Rule 28.

All pharmacies due for assessment under Quality Care 2020 are required to read, understand and accept the Rules and Terms and Conditions as part of the assessment process.
