Quality Care 2020, the result of the QCPP Reform Program, is a contemporary program bringing together best-practice business operations with excellence in safe and quality care.
The enhanced accreditation program is centred on enabling continuous improvement and innovation in your pharmacy, allowing your business to perform at its best.
From Thursday 1 October 2020, Quality Care 2020 is the accreditation framework for quality in community pharmacy.
QCPP Customer Portal
The QCPP Customer Portal gives you 24/7 access to manage your own account, with a range of self-service functions to:
- Manage your own personal information
- Pay invoices online
- Access to relevant reaccreditation information
- Download the Quality Care 2020 Requirements
- Access to the Quality Care 2020 Knowledge Hub
- From 1 October 2020, view and respond to any actions from your assessment

The Quality Care 2020 Knowledge Hub is your one-stop-shop for resources, references, frequently asked questions, support videos and more, designed to help you understand the new Requirements and prepare for your assessments.

Preparing for Quality Care 2020 Assessments
Quality Care 2020 assessments commenced in October 2020 via a streamlined remote assessment process. QCPP has a wide range of resources available to help you prepare for your assessment. We encourage pharmacies to prepare in the same way they would for an on-site assessment.
What you need to do before your assessment:
- Read, understand and accept the new QC2020 Rules and Terms and Conditions
- Access the QCPP Customer Portal to download the QC2020 Requirements
- Visit the QC2020 Knowledge Hub to help you prepare for your assessment
- Await contact from EY, our assessment partners, to book your assessment

Feedback and input from community pharmacy is important to us.
QCPP has established the pharmacy-led QCPP Reform Working Group to provide ongoing input into the development of Quality Care 2020.
Membership of the group includes representatives from a variety of pharmacies, including both Guild and non-Guild members, independent and banner group pharmacies, as well as pharmacies that participated in the pilot review. It includes subject matter experts with extensive understanding of small business pharmacies.
The Working Group was initiated in 2018 is continuing to meet regularly during the development and roll out of Quality Care 2020.
Furthermore, the QCPP Impartiality Committee will also meet regularly during the development of Quality Care 2020 to ensure open and transparent decision making occurs.
