  • Better Customer Service & Results Through Staff Training

    Mar 16, 2016

Pharmacy employees perform a range of activities within the pharmacy but perhaps the most important of all is responding to customers and providing the best solution to meet their health care needs.

Ensuring your employees involved in the sale of scheduled medicines have undergone the appropriate training puts them in the best position to provide excellent advice and have a respectful, tactful, caring manner while working within the bounds of legislation.

Support your business with excellent customer service by ensuring your pharmacy’s employee training is up to date and recorded in your employee training records. Visit the QCPP training requirements webpage to access the latest resources.

  • New look QCPP Accreditation Certificate

    Feb 18, 2016

Show your customers and suppliers that your business is supporting excellence in pharmacy by achieving accreditation under the AS 85000:2011 Quality Care Pharmacy Standard, the quality management system for pharmacies in Australia. From 1 January 2016, QCPP has introduced a new look accreditation certificate.

Promoting your QCPP Accreditation by displaying your certificate in a prominent location in your pharmacy advertises to your customers and suppliers that you are operating your pharmacy efficiently within an accredited Quality Management System.

Being a QCPP accredited pharmacy demonstrates your commitment to deliver excellent customer service as well as enhance the skills and capabilities of staff through improved business management and processes in the pharmacy. This affirms your pharmacy’s dedication to provide a higher level of professional service and assurance that your pharmacy conforms to industry and professional standards.

Celebrate your accreditation: Attaining and maintaining your QCPP accreditation status requires consistent conscious effort, strong teamwork and commitment at all levels of your pharmacy to provide quality services and enhancing the lives of the customers you serve. Your pharmacy deserves to be proud of this achievement – celebrate your accreditation and display your certificate in “pride of place” in your pharmacy.
