The QCPP Locum Training course has been developed by The Pharmacy Guild of Australia to provide Locum Pharmacists with important knowledge about the QCPP. It aims to enhance a Locum’s understanding of the structure and compliance requirements of the QCPP and to develop an awareness of the application of the Standards in individual pharmacies.
The training course is directed at those locum pharmacists who replace, for an extended period, the managing pharmacist. Locums who work in a pharmacy on a regular basis, are expected to complete the staff certification process in the Team Standards which may be applicable to the Locum.
