Since it's inception in 1998, there has been widespread industry support and participation in the QCPP. Members of the planning group included representatives from the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia, the Australian Institute of Pharmacy Management, the Australian Association of Consultant Pharmacy, the Council of Pharmacy Registering Authorities, and the Australian Friendly Societies Pharmacies Association, as well as representatives from major retail brands.
