The Summary of Tools is a Word document that contains all the sample letters and tools from the Professional Services, Retail Skills, Business Management and Loss Prevention sections of the Reference Manual.

Special Assessors Checklist for PPS 12 and PPS 13

The Distance Dispensing PPS-12 and Internet Pharmacy PPS-13 Standards were developed by the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia and incorporated into the Quality Care Pharmacy Program in 2001 as mandatory Standards.  

Specific QCPP Licensed Assessor checklists have been developed for both of these Standards. It is important to note that all the points mentioned in the checklists must be satisfied if a pharmacy is to be accredited.

Pharmacy Appearance Scorecard

The Pharmacy Appearance Scorecard is designed to assess elements which, if neglected, can detract from the consumer's perception of the quality of service offered by the pharmacy.

Licensed Assessors

Licensed Assessors are independent professionals specifically trained to carry out assessments for the Quality Care Pharmacy Program.

The Licensed Assessors can be contacted when a pharmacy is ready for assessment. Please note that some Assessors conduct assessments in more than one State/territory. Click here for the Assessors’ contact details.

Assessment Methodology

The assessment methodology has been developed as a guide for QCPP Licensed Assessors in working through the processes involved in the independent external assessment.

Pharmacies which have completed their QCPP implementation and are ready for the external assessment might be assisted by reading the methodology in an effort to understand the assessment process.
