Consumer Feedback Instruments - Standards for the Provision of Pharmacist Only and Pharmacy Medicines
In the Final Report on the Standards of Practice for the Provision of Pharmacist Only and Pharmacy Medicines in Community Pharmacy (Benrimoj and Gilbert, 1998), the authors included a number of resources that supported the S2/S3 Standards they had developed.

Most of these resources, viz the Self-Audit Proforma, Standard Operating Procedures, policies on confidentiality and documentation, and protocols on the sale of S2/S3 medicines, were included in the PSA publication relating to these Standards. However, not included in the PSA publication were examples of the Consumer Feedback Instruments (CFIs) which were referred to in the indicators listed for specific Standards.

The QCP Committee has excluded the indicators relating to consumer reporting from the QCPP assessment process. In other words these indicators are not formally assessed and they do not have an impact on final accreditation.

However, pharmacies may find the instruments useful if they are contemplating obtaining consumer feedback on the pharmacy's services, so they have now been included in the Professional Resources section. Click on the section below for full details of the CFIs.
