The QCPP 2nd edition was launched at
the Australian Pharmacy Professional (APP) on Sunday,
2 April 2006 at the QCPP Plenary session. The QCP Program
was also represented at the trade exhibition all weekend
with Agreement Coordinators and QCP staff on hand to
answer questions relating to the 2nd edition. In the
2nd edition, there are a number of changes that aim
to streamline processes for pharmacy. Some of these
changes include:

New QCPP 2nd edition materials to be distributed to all financial pharmacies in June 2006,
- A questions and answer booklet is included to be distributed within the 2nd edition materials,
-
Accreditation cycle has changed from three-years to two-years
- New materials contain 18 standards, numerous procedures and templates to support the standard(s)
- No work books required
- New website containing information about the 2nd edition
- New design for the QCPP Newsletter coincided with the launch
